SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used for machining processing of blades of gas turbine engines, for example, in grinding and polishing operations of blade fixing. Method includes basing and fixing a blade blank over the feather along three planes with the final formed profile of the feather in the setting device. In this case, the installation tool is placed on the working table of the machine and the positions of the root part sections of the blade are measured, and if the measured cross-sections deviate from the nominal value at specified points, the control system of coordinate system is automatically adjusted, taking into account the blade shank without re-installation.

EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of the blade production.
