FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the lighting control system, in particular containing multiple light sources based on use of the visible light (VL) and infrared (IR) communication for the light sources selection and improved control. The technical result is achieved in that sequences of the channel symbols for the light source control are determined from the sequences of the source symbols such, that there is no visible flicker effect in the encoded light emitted by the light sources. Each source symbol is converted in composite channel symbol containing at least one first channel symbol, that can be identical to the current source symbol, and at least one second channel symbol, that can be function of the current source symbol, and at least one next and/or previous source symbol.

EFFECT: assurance of the light coding, ie encoded information inclusion in the light output of the light source, that does not result in visible flicker effect.
