FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed to place the product sachets for oral use of in the container. The device comprises a unit of positioning sachets relative to each other in the container, and the unit comprises a group of compartments receiving the sachets, located in a certain pattern. Each of the compartments has an inlet end which enables the sachet to enter the compartment, and a retaining end on the opposite side, preventing the sachet exit from the compartment. The positioning unit additionally comprises a discharging element for discharging sachets from the compartments into the container, at that the compartments are connected to the supporting structure, which keeps the pattern of arrangement of the compartments during the device operation. The unit for manufacturing these sachets is characterised in that it comprises a device as described above. In the method, the placement of sachets is implemented using the above device. The method comprises insertion of at least one sachet to the first of the compartments of their receiving and displacement of the compartment for receiving the sachets relative the transport assembly for transporting the individual sachets in the positioning unit, so that the input end of the second of the compartments faces the transport assembly.
