FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum pump to be used in the vacuum-driven packing machines. Vacuum pump comprises the cylinder (11) composed by the jacket of two parallel cylindrical chambers intersected in crosswise direction, their axes located in one plane and one of their sides making the wall provided with a suction hole (17), and by outer jacket enveloping that of said two parallel cylindrical chambers to make a closed chamber with inlet and outlet. Said chamber allows the circulation of fluid that effects the heat exchange. Claimed machine comprises the driven crankcase (12) accommodating the engine, pump rotors driving and timing components, said rotors being arranged in cantilever to make the support the cylinders (11) and to centre them.
EFFECT: enhanced performances, perfected design, ease of dismantling, cleaning and reassembly.
