SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for obtaining catalyst of selective hydro-purification of catalytic cracking gasoline, which includes in its composition cobalt and molybdenum in form of oxides; silicon in form of amorphous alumosilicate, aluminium in form of aluminium oxide and amorphous alumosilicate, with components being contained in the following concentrations, wt %: MoO₃ - 3.0-12.0; CoO - 0.8-4.6; amorphous alumosilicate, which contains silicon and aluminium in weight ratio Si/Al from 0.1 to 0.9 - 46.6-84.0%, Al₂O₃ - the remaining part. Catalyst has specific surface 150-350 m²/g, pore volume 0.3-0.9 cm³/g, average diameter of pores 5-15 nm, represents particles in form of trefoil with diameter 1.3-1.7 mm and length to 20 mm, which have volume mechanical strength, determined by Shell 1471 method, not less than 1.0 MPa. Method consists in soaking pre-prepared carrier, which contains, wt %: amorphous alumosilicate - 50-90%, Al₂O₃ - the remaining part, specific surface 150-350 m²/g, pore volume 0.5-1.1 cm³/g, average diameter of pores 5-15 nm, which represents particles with trefoil-shaped section with diameter 1.3-1.7 mm and length to 20 mm, which have strength not less than 1.0 kg/mm, water solution, which contains ammonium paramolybdate and cobalt (II) nitrate, with the following drying and tempering.

EFFECT: high selectivity in hydropurification of catalytic cracking gasolines, expressed in reduction of degree of hydration of olefin hydrocarbons and reduction of decrease of octane number of catalytic cracking gasoline in carrying out hydropurification and increased hydrodesulphurisation activity.
