FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to calcium carbonate-containing material, possessing increased volume density at equal or improved flowability, and to method for obtaining said material. Method by the invention includes stage of realisation of contact of mineral calcium carbonate containing powder with solution or emulsion or dispersion of binding agent, selected from the group, including copolymers of acrylonitrile, butylacrylate, styrene, styrene-butadiene and acryl ester and their mixture, where quantity of binding agent constitutes less than 10 wt % counted per the total weight of mineral calcium carbonate containing powder.

EFFECT: obtained composite particles, dried to the total content of surface moisture less than 0,5 wt % counted per the total weight of particles, have higher bulk density at equal or improved flowability in comparison with initial mineral calcium carbonate containing powder, also dried to the total content of surface moisture less than 0,5 wt %.
