FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flame plating of nano-structured coatings. Sprayer comprises forechamber. Powder material is used as an initial material. Simultaneously with development of high-temperature gas flow in sprayer combustion chamber, pressure is set therein higher than that in combustion chamber. High-temperature gas flow is created whereto powder of fed to produce gas-powder jet. Said jet is forced into combustion chamber at the rate higher than that of high-temperature gas flow. Nanoparticles produced from initial material are carried by said gas flow and deposited on the substrate.
EFFECT: high-quality coating of powder material.
