METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF RADIOACTIVE CAESIUM, HYDROPHILIC RESIN COMPOSITION FOR REMOVAL OF RADIOACTIVE CAESIUM, METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF RADIOACTIVE IODINE AND RADIOACTIVE CAESIUM AND HYDROPHILIC COMPOSITION FOR REMOVAL OF RADIOACTIVE IODINE AND RADIOACTIVE CAESIUM Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G21F9/12

Abstract RU 2576020 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for the removal of radioactive caesium consists in processing a radioactive spent liquid and/or a solid substance by means of a hydrophilic resin composition. The hydrophilic resin composition contains hydrophilic resin and a metal ferrocyanide compound, one hydrophilic resin, selected from the group, consisting of hydrophilic polyurethane resin, hydrophilic polyurea resin and hydrophilic polyurethane-polyurea resin, each of which has a hydrophilic segment; the metal ferrocyanide compound is dispersed in the hydrophilic resin composition in a ratio from 1 to 200 weight parts relative to 100 weight parts of hydrophilic resin. The versions of the method realisation are also presented.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to catch and stably retain removed radioactive substances in a solid body.
