SUBSTANCE: granular adsorbent of radioactive iodine from zeolite X in which ion exchange of zeolite plots X are replaced by Silver so that the size of the small pores of zeolite X matches the size of the hydrogen molecule, and adsorbent radioactive iodine has 36 silver wt % or more when drying, grain size 10×20 mesh and water content 12 wt % or less when dried at 150°C for 3 h and thus reduced in weight.
