FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: microbiological pollution of water is detected. According to claimed method samples with different concentration of colony-forming units (CFU) of bacteria are applied. At stimulation with ultraviolet radiation intensity of fluorescence Ifl of each sample, as well as intensity of fluorescence Iflc of control sample, which contains distillated water at wave length λfl = 415±10 nm is determined. Then calibrating curve of dependence between CFU and value Ifl-Iflc in each sample is built, fluorescence Ifla of analysed sample and value Ifl-Iflc are determined, corresponding Ifl-Iflc concentration of CFUas in analysed sample is determined by calibrating curve. In case if CFUas is higher than allowable value by more than given value, microbiological pollution is evaluated as dangerous.
EFFECT: accuracy of evaluation of infectious danger of water, simplification and reduction of determination time.
