FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: in the method of determining content of doxycycline in medicinal agents, involving sample preparation, silica gel deposited on a substrate is modified with a nonionic surfactant Bridge-35, with subsequent addition of the sample of the analysed solution of the medicinal agent. Content is determined from colour intensity in the area where the sample is deposited, which corresponds to fluorescence intensity which is determined by a video densitometer and computer processing based on a calibration curve plotted in similar conditions for standard doxycycline solutions.

EFFECT: simple, faster and more efficient analysis.
