where R1 is alkoxy, ORa, SRa, -S(O)Ra, or -S(O)2Ra; where Ra is alkyl or aryl, optionally substituted with alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy and/or halogen; R2, R3 is C1-C6alkyl; R4 is hydrogen or C1-C6alkyl; R5 is pyridinyl, optionally substituted with a halogen. The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a compound of formula I in the concentration which is effective for disrupting Hec1/Nek2 binding in a patient when the composition is administered to the patient. The compounds I are intended for the use when producing a medicinal agent for treating diseases associated with Hec1 dysfunction and/or overexpression, where the compound is present in the medicinal agent in the amount which is effective for disrupting Nek2/Hec1 binding.
