FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: mandrel includes sectors making the work surface of the mandrel, being shape-generating internal cylindrical surface of non-metal pipe. Sectors are installed with possibility of movement along the axis of rotation of the mandrel. The mandrel contains four modules, each of them comprises two coaxially installed rings with same diameter, to external surface of each ring two mandrel sectors are rigidly secured, they are uniformly located on the external surface of rings. Rings of all modules creating the mandrel are installed coaxially with the axis of rotation of the mandrel. External surface of rings contains at least two shoulders to which sectors abut.
EFFECT: reduced weight, simple design of mandrel.
