FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method and device for formation of external thread on end of fibre glass pipe. Method consists in that prior to fitting a matrix-nut, inside which there is moulding material, pipe is evacuated at its end. For this purpose, gas is evacuated from inside to create a vacuum and evacuated matrix-nut is then rotated by front head drive. Device has front and back heads installed with possibility of tight pressing of matrix-nut. One of heads has a gas discharge branch pipe of cavity of matrix-nut.

EFFECT: high degree of extraction of gases from moulding material and, consequently, reduced porosity and high strength of external thread on end of fibre glass pipe.
