FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes means of feeding and removing glass-fibre material from a heat-conducting bath with binder, rollers for feeding and removing glass-fibre material from the bath, guiding rollers for the glass-fibre material located in the bath and a binder heater connected to an electric current supply system. The impregnation apparatus further includes an impregnation activator in the form of a plate mounted on an axis and having an exponentially shaped working edge, configured to press the glass-fibre material to the bottom of the bath on the entire width. The heater adjoins the lower external surface of the bath, and the axis adjoins a loading bar with a load, capable of transferring the load to the impregnation activator to press the glass-fibre material.
EFFECT: high quality of impregnation.
