SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of reducing methanogenesis in ruminants. Method involves oral administration of feed additive containing flavanone glycoside selected from a group comprising neogesperidin, izonaringin, poncirin, hesperidin and mixtures thereof.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to reduce formation of methane in ruminants.
