FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to molding of articles from polymer composite materials (PCM), and may find application in the aerospace, shipbuilding and other industries. Tooling for the molding of articles from polymer composite materials comprising a support structure placed thereon and the base, the surface of which from the supporting structure holds the at least one rib, manufactured integrally with the base. Base and the rib are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Stiffener having a hollow profile, the cavity of which is filled with low density material based on expanded graphite having a density of 0.06 to 0.12 g/cm3. It discloses a method for manufacturing this equipment.
EFFECT: invention aims to increase the number of the molding FRP detachably by reducing the heat distortion temperature change in the heating-cooling cycle, facilitating snap weight while maintaining its strength properties.
