FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making large-size and other model outfit from non-metallic materials for forming thin-walled products of complex geometry from fibre-reinforced polymer composite materials. Method of making model accessories for moulding articles from polymer composite materials involves laying layers of reinforcing filler and heat treatment. Separating layer is laid on mounting surface and epoxy mastic layer is poured, reinforcing filler is placed on it, similar to reinforcing filler of moulded article impregnated with epoxy mastic. Method comprises alternatively pouring layers of mastic and placing reinforcing filler impregnated with epoxy mastic, wherein each layer of the mastic is cured at room temperature, and the reinforcing filler is placed at a predetermined pitch. In another embodiment of the method accessories manufacturing method, an insert of heat-resistant material is placed on one of the mastic layers.

EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy and reduced level of deformation of moulded articles.
