SUBSTANCE: in the towed device for measurement of acoustic characteristics of sea ground containing the on-board processing module installed on the vessel, which is connected with the ship processing module by means of a conducting rope, the floating surface module and the underwater module suspended to it on a conducting rope fitted with acoustic sensors, and the floating surface module is fitted with the receiver of the positioning satellite system, the floating surface module is designed as two float-operated catamaran-type platforms, each is fitted with the information storage and transmission unit with the satellite system receiver, the underwater module with acoustic sensors is designed as two flexible underwater cable antennas with spaced pressure receivers, fixed on the respective float-operated platforms, while the device is fitted with the towed radiator of acoustic impulses, and outputs of flexible underwater cable antennas are connected to the respective inputs of information storage and transmission units, the outputs of which through the respective conducting ropes are connected to the on-board processing module.
EFFECT: possibility of determination of parameters of sea ground on the basis of its seismoacoustic sonic test on the studied water area.
