SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optical stereo device and autofocusing methods thereof. Disclosed is an optical stereo device, having imaging means configured to provide a stereo image of an object of interest by combining a right-eye image and a left-eye image. The disclosed device also includes a control unit operably connected to the imaging means and configured to receive a right-eye image and a left-eye image and adjust the focus position of the imaging means.
EFFECT: providing automatic focusing of an imaging unit according to the direction and/or value of the displacement vector.
