SUBSTANCE: curing agent is a hybrid methylene-bis-aniline of formula (1)

Aniline A, Aniline B,
in which each of R1-R4 is independently selected from a straight or branched C1-C5-alkyl. The invention also relates to a mixture in a liquid form, obtained by reacting the aniline A and aniline B with formaldehyde in an acidic medium and containing a hybrid methylene-bis-aniline A (A-A), hybrid methylene-bis-aniline B (B-B) and 30-63 wt % of a hybrid methylene-bis-aniline of formula (1), a method for production thereof, as well as a two-component curable polymer system containing the said liquid curing agent or the said mixture and a curable resin, preferably epoxy resin. The invention also relates to a cured resin for producing structured materials and a method for production thereof. The method comprises mixing components of the two-component curable polymer system, followed by curing at high temperature. The resin preferably has one or more characteristics selected from the following physical properties: Ts in a dry state higher than 170°C, Ts in a wet state higher than 150°C and modulus of elasticity of at least 3.0 GPa without any structured fibres.
