FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry, and is intended for use in treating of osteonecrosis and malformations of the upper jaw. Method applies an external surgical access accordingly Koher-Weber or intraoral approach. Front surface of the upper jaw and zygomatic bone are determined with boundaries of changed bone tissue then any changed bone tissue is excised. In order to fix a palatal mucoperiosteal flap within the resection end of zygomatic bone and/or upper jaw drilled holes are formed. Suture is passed through them, mucoperiosteal flap is stretched and fixed by means of u-sutures. Maxillary sinus is packed with iodoform tampon, ointment packing or Foley catheter. Wound is sutured by layers.
EFFECT: method, due to improvement of postoperative wounds and fixation of the hard palate, enables to achieve stable good results, avoiding additional lines of osteotomy, new zones of sampling of connective tissue flaps.
