SUBSTANCE: presented formulation for semen cryopreservation comprises the following substances mixed with distilled water: glycerol and human albumin, Mexidol, polygene, reduced glutathione, egg yolk and tris-fructose-citrate; the formulation contains per 100 ml of distilled water 590-660 mg of glycerol, 2-3 g of egg yolk, 0.4-0.6 mg of polygene, 1-10 mg of human albumin, 0.1-0.4 mg of reduced glutathione, 0.04-0.06 mcg of Mexidol and 4.3-11.3 g of tris-fructose-citrate containing 2.5-6.0 g of tris, 0.6-1.5 g of fructose and 1.2-3.8 g of citrate.

EFFECT: pronounced effect of preserving the motility of a considerable quantity of sperm cells when using the presented formulation for cryopreservation, as well as substantial cost-saving of the presented formulation as compared to that of, eg a formulation of COOK SYDNEY IVF semen cryopreservation medium.
