FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to veterinary science, and can be used to reduce an incidence or severity of clinical symptoms related to porcine circovirus type II (PCV2) infection. That is ensured by introducing in a pig a unit dose of a multivalent combined vaccine containing a porcine circovirus type 2 antigen that is a protein coded by a DNA sequence which is at least 80% identical to ORF2 of porcine circovirus type 2, and at least one immunogenic component effective in relation to another organism causing the disease in pigs and being a porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus antigen, and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers.
EFFECT: using this method enables to produce the synergetic effect of administering the combination of PCV2 ORF2 and InglVac PRRS MLV to relief the symptoms related to porcine circovirus type II infection.
