FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: ruthenium triphenylphosphine complex reacts with 1,1-diphenyl-2-propyn-1-ol in tetrahydrofuran or dioxane in the presence of an inorganic acid when heated to 65-100°C in an inert atmosphere. After removing the acid, the obtained complex (3-phenylindenylid-1-ene)RuCl2(PPh3)2 is mixed with a chloroform adduct selected from: 1,3-bis-(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)-2-trichloromethylimidazolidine, 3-bis-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-2-trichloromethylimidazolidine, 1,3-bis-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-2-trichloromethylimidazolidine. The mixture is heated to 60-80°C and mixed for 2-3 hours in an inert atmosphere. The obtained mixture is consecutively reacted with pyridine at room temperature and then at 60-80°C with the corresponding N-substituted 2-vinylbenzylamine.
EFFECT: high environmental safety of the technology, particularly low explosion- and fire-safety and toxic load, simple technique and shorter time for producing the end product owing to the exclusion of intermediate steps of separating and purifying intermediate products.
