FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: natural clay of montmorillonite-palygorskite type is subjected to modification in aluminium sulphate solution until suspension with concentration by dry substance 500-600 g/l is obtained. Obtained suspension is dried in rowing dryer at temperature 130-150°C. Dispersion of clay powder and granulation are realised by means of screw extruder. Extrudate is dried, milled and dispersed with separation of target fraction.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain adsorbent for selective purification of aromatic hydrocarbons from unsaturated compounds with high adsorptive-catalytic activity.
