FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A power-supplied ophthalmic lens is configured applicable in an eye and comprises: an electronic system integrated into the ophthalmic lens and comprising a control system, a lens actuator comprising a high-voltage generator, and a power supply system including one or more power-supply sources that maintain a required power for the ophthalmic lens; and an optical element integrated into the ophthalmic lens and having an electronically adjustable focal length specified to enable vision correction and vision improvement; the optical element is functionally connected to the electronic system; the high-voltage generator is configured to provide a DC bias voltage to the optical element and operate in an open-loop mode. The optical element is configured to operate at one of the two focal lengths, whereas the lens actuator is found in respective off- and on-states.
EFFECT: using the given invention is supposed to allow downsizing the device and reducing its power consumption.
