FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for obtaining 2,2-bis[4-(4-nitrophenoxy)phenyl]hexafluoropropane of formula , given below, which finds application as semi-product in synthesis of monomer for obtaining polymers, under influence of ultrasound. Method includes interaction of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane with 4-nitrochlorobenzene with ultrasound activation. Aromatic nucleophilic substitution of chlorine atom is carried out in DMSO in presence of K2CO3 at ultrasound frequency 37 kHz, and temperature 80°C for 1 h at molar ratio 4-nitrochlorobenzene:2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane = 1:0.5.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce time and temperature of reaction of aromatic nucleophilic substitution and increase output and purity of obtained product.
