FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: section of a gas pipeline (1) between linear cranes (2) and (3), from which it is necessary to pump gas for its subsequent repair, is the closest upstream a gas pumping unit (4). A gas ejector (9) is installed in the last bypass unit (5) upstream the gas pumping unit so that the outlet of the bypass unit (10) is fixed on the flange of a joint (8) in a relief pipe (6) at the outlet from the disconnected section, and a nozzle (11) via a stop valve (13) is connected to an injection gas pipeline directly downstream the gas pumping unit (4). Since gas pressure directly downstream the gas pumping unit (4) is higher than upstream the linear valves at the inlet to the gas pumping unit (4) and there is effect of gas pumping with the gas pumping unit (4) itself from the cavity downstream the linear valve, the gas pressure difference at the gas ejector (9) increases.
EFFECT: increased extent of gas pumping from a disconnected pipeline section.
