FIELD: gas transfer equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes delivery of gas into nozzle of ejector and pumping out of gas by ejector from disconnected section of gas main. Gas is pumped out by gas transfer plant from section following disconnected section of gas main. Nozzle of ejector is connected to section preceding disconnected section. Outlet of ejector is connected to parallel line of gas main or to section of gas main following disconnected section, and then gas is delivered into ejector nozzle from section of gas main before disconnected section and gas is pumped from disconnected section of gas main into parallel line of gas main or into section of gas main following the disconnected section. Gas from section following the disconnected section of gas main is pumped out by gas transfer plant.
