FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions comprises a replaceable head for an electric toothbrush and an electric toothbrush with the said head, relates to the field of medical equipment and is intended for oral hygiene. The replaceable head for an electric toothbrush comprises an elongated tube having a connecting element at one longitudinal end for mating with the connector on the handle of the electric toothbrush, a mounting part of the bristle-holder, which is located at the opposite longitudinal end of the tube and on which the bristle-holder is mounted with the ability of pivotal movement about the axis of rotation extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the tube, and a drive shaft of the head, extending in the longitudinal direction along the tube and mounted with the ability of pivotal movement about the axis of rotation generally coaxial with the longitudinal direction of the tube. The tube has a flexible part which provides the ability of movement of the tube part located between the bristle-holder and the flexible part relative to the connecting element under the influence of pressure to the bristle-holder during use. Adjacent to the end of the drive shaft of the head at the greatest distance in the longitudinal direction from the said connecting element there is a spherical bearing of the drive shaft of the head, at that the tube has a corresponding cavity for location of the spherical bearing of the drive shaft of the head, in which the bearing is located. The head comprises a transfer device designed for converting rotation of the drive shaft of the head to rotation of the bristle-holder with respect to the axis of rotation extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the shaft, and comprising an eccentric pin extending from the drive shaft of the head adjacent to its end at the greatest distance in the longitudinal direction from the connecting element to end of the pin, spaced from the drive shaft of the head in a direction radial relative to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft of the head, at that the pin has a spherical bearing of the pin, located adjacent the end of the pin. The bristle-holder has a cavity for the location of the spherical bearing of the pin, spaced at a distance in the radial direction from its axis of rotation and formed with such dimensions that when the drive shaft of the head makes vibration-rotational movement about its axis of rotation, the spherical bearing of the pin abuts against the cavity surfaces spaced in the circumferential direction about the axis of rotation of the said the bristle-holder, ensuring the vibration-rotational movement of the bristle-holder.
EFFECT: inventions enable to extend the range of technical means of the specified purpose.
