SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling. Invention relates to production of stator insert for downhole motor. Claimed method comprises the making of rotor with outer geometry matching the stator of required internal geometry. Flexible sleeve is fitted on the rotor. Said flexible sleeve and the rotor are placed into the mould. Reinforcing material is fed into the mould to fill the space between said flexible sleeve and the mould. Said reinforcing material is hardened to bind said material with said flexible sleeve. Produced hardened reinforcing material and said flexible sleeve from the mould to produce the stator.
EFFECT: fast stator replacement in the field.
