SUBSTANCE: rubber composition contains the rubber component which contains butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber and natural rubber; an organic cobalt salt; colophony or a colophony derivative; and an organochlorine compound. The content of butadiene rubber ranges from 5 pts.wt to 20 pts.wt per 100 pts.wt of the rubber component. The content of chloroprene rubber ranges from 20 pts.wt to 65 pts.wt per 100 pts.wt of the rubber component. The content of the organic cobalt salt ranges from 0.2 pts.wt to 1.0 pts.wt per 100 pts.wt of the rubber component with respect to the content of the organic cobalt salt per weight of cobalt. The content of colophony or colophony derivative ranges from 2 pts.wt to 9 pts.wt per 100 pts.wt of the rubber component. The content of organochlorine compound ranges from 5 pts.wt to 35 pts.wt per 100 pts.wt of the rubber component.

EFFECT: invention provides excellent adhesion with respect to zinc-plated steel-wire cords, improved fire resistance and frost resistance.
