FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be applied, for instance, in production of tyres, conveyor belts, hoses, in engine suspension or handles of golf clubs. Aminoalkoxy-modified silsesquioxane (amino AMS) and/or amino co-AMS compounds, which can also contain mercaptosilan and/or blocked mercapto silane, are excellent adhesives for covering steel with vulcanised caoutchouc. Amino AMS and/or amino/mercaptan co-AMS adhesives can be used with all types of caoutchouc and do not require addition of special additives to caoutchoucs. Adhesive properties of steel, covered with such adhesive, are stable in time, especially stable to thermal and/or thermal-oxidative aging, as well as to corrosion in presence of water.

EFFECT: vulcanised caoutchouc compositions, which contain amino AMS and/or amino/mercaptan co-AMS compounds, have improved adhesion to steel embedded into them without coating after moisture aging.
