FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a light-emitting diode (LED) light signal, particularly a railway LED light signal with a signalling device (1) for generating light points of different colours, wherein LEDs are made as multi-colour LEDs, particularly RGB-LED (10)/ red (11)/yellow (12)/green (13) LEDs. The signalling device (1) has at least one optical sensor (15, 15.1, 15.2) for signalling-technically reliable control of a colour point or light power, an estimation device (17, 17.1) generates an acknowledgement signal (5) which depends on ambient conditions and directs said signal to a signal post (2), wherein a control signal (3) is generated at the signal post side for transmission to the signalling device (1), and means are provided for comparing the acknowledgement signal (5) with the control signal (3).
EFFECT: enabling colour mixing, thereby realising a large number of colours for improving signalling equipment safety.
