FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering and represents waveguide switch. Switch comprises concentric rotor and stator with waveguide channels made in them, control unit, device to lock rotor relative to stator and actuating device. Actuator is composed of concentric magnetic conductor in form of ring and rotor. Magnetic conductor has on internal surface of even number of teeth of at least four, arranged symmetrically about the axis of symmetry of magnetic conductor in each pair of teeth. On each tooth inductance coil is wound. Coil located on teeth of each pair, electrically connected to each other so that beginning of winding of first coil is connected to end winding of second coil, and idle coil outputs are connected to control unit. Rotor of actuating device is magnet in form of cylinder and is mechanically secured to rotor axis of waveguide switch, magnetic poles are located parallel to axis of one of poles (S or N) covers ends of teeth of one half of coils, and other pole (N or S) covers one or more teeth ends of other half of coils.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling direct switching between any positions.
