SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a crosslinkable elastomeric composition comprising a polymer mixture comprising at least one copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate having at least 40 wt.% vinyl acetate links and at least one acrylate elastomer. Composition further comprises a polymeric oil type additive having a molecular weight below 15,000 g/mol, containing unsaturated groups in main chain. Invention also relates to a cable containing a crosslinked coating obtained from crosslinkable elastomeric composition.
EFFECT: after crosslinking composition has substantially improved tensile strength characteristics and oil resistance while ensuring good frost resistance characteristics.
