FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used in radar stations for protection from pulsed, including response, interference. Said result is achieved by that in method for suppression of radar signals imitating a target, which comprises main weight processing and additional after limitation of received signal, distort signal emitted or (and) received side lobes of beam pattern of phased antenna array (PAA), a decision on target detection, if signals exceed thresholds after weight treatment, or more and a decision on detection signal simulating a target, if signal exceeds threshold only after main weighting. Said technical result is also achieved due to a radar device comprising an antenna, a channel with limitation, which includes series-connected limiter, first compression filter and first threshold device, a linear channel, having series-connected second compression filter, a second threshold device and an AND coincidence circuit, first input of which is connected to output of first threshold device, and its output is output of device, antenna used is a phased antenna array, also used is a control device for parameters of phased antenna array (UUPFAR), device of modulation of parameters of phased antenna array (UMPFAR) and synchronisation device, output of phased antenna array is connected to inputs of limiter and second compression filter, output of UMPFAR is connected by a bus to outputs of UUPFAR, output of UUPFAR is connected by a bus to inputs of phased antenna array, output of synchronisation device is connected to corresponding synchronisation inputs of UMPFAR and UUPFAR.

EFFECT: technical result is suppression of repeater jamming signals acting in area of side lobes of antenna beam pattern.
