FIELD: biology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biology, microbiology, particularly to parasitology, and can be used for fundamental studies possibility of interaction of tested substances, biological objects, other test substances with organism earthworms (Lumbricina). Method of preparing earthworms for investigation of contamination of their helminth eggs involves immobilizing the worms in 1 % solution of chloral hydrate, after which it is introduced into the oral cavity by means of chromatographic microsyringes fitted with a blunt end a preliminarily prepared mixture of starch gel with helminth eggs.
EFFECT: using the presented invention enables preserving the tested material alive.
