SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Auto-fat tissue graft is pre-selected from the gluteal region of the operated patient. After the duraplasty is performed, a fragment of an auto-fat graft is placed over the dura mater and fixed. Occipital bone is fitted with the proposed implant. Plate is tightly fixed to an occipital bone. Nuchal and cervical muscles tightly fixed between each other and to the implant. Implant is made in the form of a plate of biocompatible material with given lateral and median curvature, with external convexity along the vertical axis. Plate is made in form of vertical longitudinal element and three horizontal elements perpendicular to it. On free ends of all horizontal longitudinal elements holes are made, which are fastening elements. On lower horizontal longitudinal element there are additional holes on both sides of vertical longitudinal element.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables performing the surgical correction of Chiari malformation of type I, exclusion of residual cavity between implant and muscles, accumulation of liquor in soft tissues with development of pseudomeningocele, preventing occurrence of liquorrhea and development of pyoinflammatory complications of cranial cavity due to use of declared implant for plasty of skull base defects.
