FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing porous coordination polymers of general formula MIL-53(X), wherein X is Al or Cr. Method involves mixing metal chloride of general formula XCl3×6H2O, wherein X has said values and 1,4-benzene dicarboxylic acid in presence of solvent, heating of obtained reaction mixture under effect of microwave radiation and extracting of end product. Solvent used is mixture of water and polar organic solvent, taken in weight ratio of 1:1-4, respectively. Process is carried out at atmospheric pressure and temperature of 120-130°C, and heating reaction mixture is carried out under effect of microwave radiation with power of up to 200 W.
EFFECT: technical result is simplified, shorter reaction time while maintaining high output of end product, as well as improvement of quality of crystalline phase.
