FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing microporous aluminum terephthalate, comprising steps of mixing 9–11 wt% terephthalic acid and 4–6 wt% alkali using a solvent – the rest, heating to 80–150 °C and stirring solution until complete dissolution of terephthalic acid, then adding 25–35 wt% solution of aluminum salt and stirring is continued at 80–150 °C for 0.5–5 hours, after which powder is separated from mixture, which is washed from inorganic impurities with separation of solid substance and drying in drying cabinet at 140–160 °C, then obtained product is subjected to activation in furnace at 220–300 °C.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing microporous aluminum terephthalate.
