FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bearing with ferrofluid seal which supports the rotating shaft so that it can rotate freely, in various power transmission mechanism. Bearing with ferrofluid seal has several rolling elements (7) placed between the inner ring (3) and the outer ring (5), and on the open side of the rings (3, 5) is an annular magnet (12) for holding the magnetic fluid in order to seal multiple rolling elements (7). Annular magnet (12) is magnetized in such a fashion that magnetic poles are arranged in the axial direction. Bearing comprises an annular pole plate (14) which is mounted so that it touches the outer surface of the ring magnet (12) in the axial direction, the magnetic fluid (15a) from the outer ring, which is held at least between the outer ring (5) and the annular a magnet (12), and a magnetic fluid (15b) to the inner ring (3) which is held at least between the inner ring (3) and an annular pole plate (14).
EFFECT: technical result: a bearing with ferrofluid seal is designed to provide reliable sealing of the rolling elements and performance.
