FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains the following component ratio, wt %: carbon 0.25-0.75; manganese 2.4-3.0; chrome 2.4-3.0; silicon 1.6-2.5; molybdenum 0.5-0.6; vanadium 0.10-0.16; and iron is the rest. After rolling heating at continuous slow cooling with the rate of 0.3-0.03°C/s and the temperature of transformation in the beinite area of 400-100°C it has the structure of carbide-free lower bainite.
EFFECT: specified hardenability to the depth up to 1000 mm, and the guaranteed creation of the structure of lower carbide-free bainite.
