FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to a method of local crystallisation of doped glass under action of laser radiation. Method of local micro-crystallisation of oxide glass is carried out using glass with dopant Nd2O3 in concentration of 0.3 to 3% (mol.). Copper vapour pulse laser is used to generate simultaneously yellow and green line with total average power of 5-15 W, pulse repetition frequency - 12.8 kHz. Laser beam is displaced relative to the sample, placed into the furnace and heated to temperature of 10-150°C lower than glass transition temperature for selected glass compositions in mol%, namely: La2O3 22-24.7, B2O3 24.5-25.5, GeO2 49.5-50.5, Nd2O3 0.3-3 or Li2O 23.7-25.3, B2O3 24.3-25.8, GeO2 49.2-50.7, Nd2O3 1-3 (over 100%) or Li2O 29.8-30.3, Nb2O3 24.7-25.5, SiO2 44.5-45.8, Nd2O3 1.5-3 (over 100%).

EFFECT: technical result is enabling glass crystallisation.
