SUBSTANCE: phosphate glass contains the following components, mol. %: P2O5 50.00-70.00; B2O3 2.00-10.00; Al2O3 1.00-5.00; SiO2 1.00-5.00; Nd2O3 0.10-5.00; Yb2O3 0.10-35.00; La2O3 0.00-20.00; Er2O3 0.00-5.00; CeO2 0.00-20.00, where the ratio of Yb2O3 to Nd2O3 is 1-25 or 0.100-0.333.
EFFECT: increasing the width of the emission band of rare-earth ions used as generating ions in active media of solid-state lasers on glass, especially in phosphate-based glass compositions.
