FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to feed production and bioenergetics, as well as chemical and petrochemical industries. Proposed method comprises processing initial stock containing hydrocarbons by affecting them by low-temperature plasma of electric discharge with E/N parameters varying from 1×10-16 to 20×10-16 V×cm2, where E is electric field intensity and N is total concentration of molecules and atoms in plasma, adding catalysts to said raw stock and chemicals changing solution pH and ionic force. Proposed device is built around electric-discharge plasma power supply, fluid component preparation system, gas component preparation system and plasmachemical reactor. Electric-discharge plasma power supply represents source that allows electric discharge firing in continuous or intermittent pulse mode.
EFFECT: splitting of long organic molecules in variable treatment conditions.
