FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shielding devices and details from electric or magnetic fields and can be used to control the effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding of shipborne rooms protected against deliberate electromagnetic effects. Disclosed method for evaluating quality of electromagnetic shielding of the sealing assembly for the hole in an electroconductive screen with closing electroconductive structure includes fixation of temperature distribution on the electroconductive screen surfaces and/or electroconductive structure along the perimeter of hole in electroconductive shield. Efficiency of electromagnetic shielding is evaluated based on the value of temperature distribution non-uniformity. Fixation of temperature distribution along the perimeter of holes in an electroconductive screen is thermal imaging photography.

EFFECT: technical result is increase of accuracy and simple process of estimation and documentation quality electromagnetic shielding of the sealing assembly holes in an electroconductive screen with closing its electroconductive structure during construction of the spacecraft in conditions of its operation.
