FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring range. Optoelectronic stereoscopic rangefinder comprises a gripping device in form of two digital cameras, spaced horizontally at a distance, and a computing unit, to carry out certain distance to object by determining shift between images by scanning maximum value obtained by position of image two-dimensional normalised correlation function in subpixel range. Left and right camera frames are mounted on their inner gimbal suspensions, each of which comprises an outer and an inner frame which is mounted on axes of rotation angle sensors suspension frames. Furthermore, left and right cameras and sensors rotation angle frames suspension are arranged to transmit to computer unit video data and current spatial orientation of cameras through cables universal serial bus (USB), and computing unit comprises a processing system, which is a remote computer, such as a laptop or personal computer (workstation), and a user interface that allows user to set image and/or input command processing.
EFFECT: technical result is ability to change parameters of work area, reduce total time to measure distances to objects, and reducing time to preset rangefinder to work.
