FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and specifically to antenna engineering. Structure comprises a waveguide-microstrip junction, in which a matching element is made in form of comb-shaped structure with steps of different height. Connection with case is made in flanges pressing through slots and soldering oval bead ledge along perimeter. Installation of ridges is carried out after there is inner configuration of case of irregular shape. Comb allows changing shape and sizes of steps, without changes in size of housing. Ridges have narrowing in form of symmetric flat or wedge-shaped cuts in area of contact with microstrip line. Contact between ridges and conductor is provided by a corresponding link.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of overall dimensions of transition from waveguide to microstrip conductor.
